Traditional Funeral Service

Our Traditional Funeral Service Includes the Following:

  • Arrangement conference at our Funeral Home.
  • Registration of Death with Alberta Vital Statistics.
  • Obtaining the Certificate of Cremation from the Medical Examiner’s office.
  • Transfer of deceased from Place of Death (24 hour service) within city limits *Additional fees apply if after hours or additional personnel required.
  • Preparation and casketing of deceased
  • 1 hour Visitation prior to service
  • Funeral Service at our facility, or our staff & equipment going to church or venue of your choice
  • Use of Funeral Coach, if required 
  • Creation of personal memorial page on our website, including an obituary of any length with a colour photo, this provides a place for friends and family members to share photos, condolences and memories.
  • Basic Cremation Container (Suitable up to 150 lbs. For the dignity of the deceased, as well as the safety of our staff, if the deceased is between 150-250 lbs use of a Wooden Cremation Container is required, valued at $100)
  • Stationery Package – includes memorial book, 200 memorial folders, 18×24″ photo or memorial collage and memorial candle
  • Cremation fee.
  • Unlimited Funeral Director’s Certificates of Death (used for estate purposes).
  • Benefit Package with “What Do We Do After A Death” guide.
  • Certificate of Cremation.
  • Transit Permit (for those travelling overseas with cremated remains).
  • Completion & submission of Canada Pension Plan Death Benefit & Survivor’s Benefit applications (those who qualify can receive up to $2,500 in return).

*Please note there is an additional fee of $100 for after hours transfers (between 5 pm and 9 am) and an additional fee of $100 for transfers requiring additional personnel.

Optional Items
The following optional items may also be added to your package:
  • Obituary in the newspaper of your choosing  we are happy to obtain a quote 
  • Use of reception facility with tea, coffee and juice provided  $300.00
  • Prayer Service at our facility or venue of your choice  $750.00
  • Weekend or Holiday Services $400.00
  • Visitation (one hour during business hours 9:00 am to 5:00 pm) $400.00, during evening hours, one hour (5:00 pm to 8:00 pm) $500.00 ( $125.00 for each additional hour of visitation)
  • Memorial Tribute DVD with up to 80 photos $395.00
  • Family Limousine (holds 7 people) Pallbearers Limousine (hold 7 people) - $300 each
  • Delayed Graveside service following reception $300.00
  • Floral Tributes range from $100.00-$600.00 
  • Staff pallbearers $125.00 each
  • Tent and chairs at cemetery $200.00
  • Dressing and viewing of deceased at our Funeral Home: $400.00
