My son passed away very suddenly on March 10th 2023 so we had to fly out from Winnipeg to Calgary. This was an extremely difficult time for our family. We had so much to do in such a short time.. We used Simply Cremations this past fall when my dad passed away. The name alone was indicative of my dad, he was a simple man. The facility inside is modern and tastefully done. Nicole greeted and guided us through the process of making the arrangements and was there till the end of the memorial luncheon. She was truly amazing! She was professional, caring, compassionate, helpful and informative of the servicers they provided. At no time was there any pressure regarding any of their services. I am truly thankful to Nicole and Simply Cremations for making this process so much easier to navigate during a most difficult time for our family.

I used Simply Cremations this past January when I lost my husband. The entire staff from start to finish have been amazing. Nicole handled all the arrangements. Her compassion and professionalism is second to none. I used Mckinnis & Holloway last May for my son and the service was horrendous. They mishandled everything from our initial visit to the when I cam to pick up my sons ashes and found out they had no idea where they were and sent me running around the city trying to find him. I was devastated. I thought more money meant better service but that is not true. Simply cremations gave wonderful at a fraction of the cost. I purchased my cards and guest book with them and received far more then I had expected. The aftercare with Kelly was wonderful. She even waited until my friend could come to be my support. Not once did I feel rushed, pressured to spend more money, actually the entire time I felt like me, my husband and our family mattered.
I can not thanks them enough for the wonderful care and attention that I received.

From the moment I first spoke with Kurtis I knew everything was going to be ok. I had been looking around at different funeral homes and came across Simply Cremations right away. I didn’t have the energy to do a bunch of searching and comparing, and honestly I really didn’t need to.
My mom passed away last week, and I’m thankful from that moment Kurtis took everything out of my hands. He was kind enough to let me text with him so when I had a question that didn’t warrant a phone call I could just text instead.

My father passed away this year and I was responsible for his funeral arrangements. He had communicated to me that he wanted a simple cremation and Simply Cremations seemed a perfect name for what we were looking for. My husband and I found the staff and care to be professional, respectful and all in all very helpful. The cost of everything was much less than what we had feared it may be. I greatly appreciate their support and would recommend their services to anyone going through their own difficult loss.

In February of 2020 we endured the unexpected passing of our stepmom. We called Simply Cremations as they had helped with our mom a couple of years ago. Both times the staff has been wonderful, sympathetic and knowledgeable. Never has a company that deals with people at their most vulnerable and emotional been more helpful and compassionate. Our family recommends their services highly. It was quite late on a Saturday evening that my husband passed and later yet when we called 'Simply Creations' on a recommendation from Victim Services. Simply Creations answered our call promptly and sent a representative to pick him up within the hour. From this first contact and throughout the next couple of weeks, we knew we had made the right choice. Both Kurtis and Kelly were compassionate, and professional. They were able to answer our questions and provide assistance in completing some government

Paul and Kelly went above and beyond helping in my grief of losing my mother of 94 years. Kelly helped with a lot of the paper work and even helped to close an account in the States. Paul was very kind to me when I first went to the funeral home. I can not say enough about this business. Thank you to all that looked after my mom.

Learning that my father was diagnosed with a terminal illness and given a short time to live was very hard to accept. My Dad expressed his simple wishes to my sister and myself. I contacted Simply Cremations and was put in touch with Kurtis Rae. After a brief phone conversation and discussing my concerns about not knowing what steps would have to taken (as it would be a death at home), we arranged for a quick meeting the next day. I explained to Kurtis what our wishes and expectations were, and Kurtis took the time to explain the entire process. In short, Simply Cremations made what I considered to be an insurmountable task at a very emotional time very simple. I would like to thank all of the staff involved...... Very affordable and I felt comfortable with them Immediately after the first initial phone call after calling around several other funeral services and did not have a very friendly experience from them.
I really like how they have onsite crematorium so I know my dear brother left his home and went to only one place until he was cremated.

Our son passed away on the 4th of September. We approached Simply Cremations about their Services. We were treated courteously with both empathy and respect. There was no attempt to push services that we weren't concerned about and their professionalism was present through the after care as well. They answered all our questions and helped with every problem from the cremation through to the obituary.

From our first email contact, we found your firm to be very responsive. Evan was knowledgeable and helpful every step of his way. He provided good information and was never "pushy". The details on the day of service were handled very well with necessary consultation with family made in a polite, professional and considerate manner. We were pleased with the funeral "card". The photo enlargement for the front of the church was beautiful, as were the flowers, guest book, thank you cards, candle etc. All of our family was happy with every arrangement you made. Thank you.
