Than Pham

Than Pham peacefully passed away on June 8, 2026 at the age of 95 in Calgary, Alberta.

Born in Ninh Binh, Vietnam, on May 27, 1932, to Huu Van and Han Thi Pham, Than was the only female in a family of 6 children. She was married in Laos and immigrated to Canada in 1980 where she remained for the rest of her life.

Than loved to sing and dance. On her last birthday, she was singing and dancing in her hospital bed. Than had a sweet and gentle spirit and brought joy to everyone around her. Even during her last days, everyone commented on how cute she was.

Than's death was preceded by her parents and four of her brothers.

Than leaves behind her devoted daughter, Le; three loving grandchildren (Bi and her husband Adam, Thanh, and Anthony and his wife Tram); two energetic great grandchildren (Jakob and An Vy); and a brother (Hue Pham) in France. She will also be missed by her extended family and friends in Calgary and in Texas.
