Zackary Sennett

On April 21, 2021, Zachary Lyle Sennet, born June 1, 2001, passed away in Calgary, AB. He is survived by his father Lyle Sennett (Tonya); his mother Melissa Laforme; his grandparents Dennis Sennett Sr., Brenda Hollowell, and Peter and Sue Morocco; aunts and uncles Marnie (Mark), Dennis Jr., Albert, Allysia, Michele (Dennis) and Chad; cousins Bronson, Chanelle, Gracie, Gavin, Jeffery, Jorga and Ayana; as well as numerous extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his uncle Daniel Sennett and his cousin and childhood partner in crime Faith Kondusky-Sennett.

At 19, Zak was living one day at a time and was proud of his hard work. He made friends easily and always had a smile to share. Zak had completed his first year of welding school with the help of his grandparents Peter and Sue, following in the footsteps of his Uncle Dan and Uncle Dennis Jr. Zak loved spending time with his family and friends; hanging out at his Auntie Michele’s making nachos and the best chocolate chip cookies with his little cousin Ayana, riding his scooter, playing hockey (ice & ball), floating down the Chippawa Creek, and playing disc golf with the boys. He loved anything to do with computers and technology, constantly buying electronics to fix and resell. He was always active and on the go, had an infectious sense of humor (he had a quick sarcastic comeback for everything), and his eyes would light up at just the mention of chocolate mini eggs.

Zak recently moved to Calgary with his father Lyle and was looking forward to building his life. He dreamed of working hard and living life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Due to Covid-19 and current gathering restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Zak to The Simon House Recovery Center would be greatly appreciated.
