William 'Drew' Whyte Obituary

Drew Whyte, born August 26, 1967, in Calgary, Alberta, passed away at the South Health Campus Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, on March 4, 2024. His sudden and unexpected passing will leave a hole in many hearts.

He will be greatly missed by his loving common-law partner, Terrina Mowatt, as well as all those he leaves behind: his parents, Sara and Sam Henderson; his children, Victoria and Cole Whyte; his niece, Callista Whyte; great-nieces, Lily Selinger and Karma van der Goes; and his nephew, Jordan Wright. He is predeceased by his father, Bill Whyte; his grandmother, Irene Golia; and his sister, Twyla Wright.

His absence will be felt deeply by all who knew him. Drew had a larger-than-life character and personality that filled any room with light. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed a hand and went out of his way to make others smile. His happy places were on the golf course, being in the great outdoors, or anywhere with friends and family.

There will be a private celebration of life in Calgary, Alberta, on a date to be announced later.
