She worked for Canada Post for several years before taking leave due to her health. Wendy’s career and education were just one of the many ways she contributed to her community, and she was known for social and kind nature. While Wendy faced many challenges in her life and health struggles for a portion of her years, those years only tell a part of her story.
Wendy’s life was also marked by her incredible strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. She kept faith during hard times and gave unconditionally to all she knew. She was deeply proud of her children, and grandchildren in always believing they would grow to be great people and accomplish wonderful things. Wendy had a deep love and pride for her children. In the last few years she should say, "My three kids, Dallas, Angelina, and Austin, have grown into such strong, kind-hearted, and incredible adults. No matter what, I know they'll go on to do great things and make me proud every step of the way."
In addition to being a caring and loving mother, Wendy was known for her compassion and love of animals, often seen as a caregiver to her pets. She had a creative spirit, expressing herself through ceramic painting, arts and self expression. She had a love for the colour pink that was reflective of her vibrant and joyful personality. Wendy expressed her self through dressing in beautiful jewelry, while also having her hair and nails done. Her faith in God was a guiding force in her life, with prayer holding a special place in her heart. She found joy in meeting new people and building lasting friendships, often networking and sharing kindness wherever she went.
Wendy’s strength extended far beyond the challenges she faced. Her laughter, kindness, and caring nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was much more than the struggles she overcame—she was a light in the lives of those around her and will be deeply missed.
