Thomas Charles Munton

Thomas Charles Munton was born on February 22, 1950, in Calgary, Ab to Thomas and Amy Munton. Tom Passed away on Thursday March 13, 2025, at the age of 75, at the Peter Lougheed Centre.

He was predeceased by his son Bryan Thomas Munton on December 30, 1999, as well as his parents.

Tom is survived by his wife Jean; his daughter Tanya (Chad); and three granddaughters, Olivia, Isla, and Aria.

Tom was raised on a farm in Keoma, AB. He moved to Calgary when he was nineteen to go to SAIT to enter into a diesel mechanic program. Tom worked a few jobs before he started working at Calgary transit in 1974, and retired in 2005.

Tom and Jean bought the farmland east of Airdrie, in 1991, and moved the house on shortly after, where they reside to this day.

There are no words to describe how much he will be missed, as per Tom’s wishes there will not be a funeral service at this time.
