In Loving Memory of Tamara Agnew
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tamara Agnew, a beloved resident of High River, who peacefully passed away at the South Health Campus Hospital on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the age of 62.
Born in Ratingen, Germany, Tamara was the cherished daughter of Werner and Anna Kunze (Hennig). She was a devoted mother to Mark Alex Agnew and Jackie Brooks (Marshall), and a proud grandmother to Madison and Emily. Tamara is deeply missed by her brother, Frank Kunze (Denise), and her nephew, Hans, along with many friends and extended “adopted” family members.
Tamara dedicated 37 years of her life to Mullen Trucking Corp, where she concluded her career as a Senior Financial Accountant. She will be fondly remembered by her coworkers for her unwavering dedication, sharp sense of humor, and her endearing aversion to inconveniences.
At the age of four, Tamara immigrated to Canada with her family. As a young adult, she had a fearless spirit and a knack for finding herself in trouble, always unafraid of the consequences. Despite her adventurous nature, she formed lifelong friendships that she held dear.
Tamara was an artist at heart, finding joy in painting and tending to her garden, where she loved planting flowers. A devoted grandmother, she shared her hobbies with her grandchildren while also taking pleasure in exploring their interests. Tamara found peace knowing her beloved son, father, and mother were there to welcome her with open arms on the other side.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Tamara’s Life will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Shepherd Family Park (1201 5 St SE) in High River from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
