Stephen Fleming Heddle

It is with profound sadness that the family of Stephen Fleming Heddle announces his sudden passing on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the age of 63.  Steve was predeceased by his parents James Robert Heddle and Evelyn Marie Boyd (Mauratt), and brother-in-law Garry Maguire.

Steve is survived by his loving siblings, Terry Maguire, Kelly (Wayne) Farrell, and Jim Heddle; and step-mother Margaret Heddle.  He is remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, including Jamie and Connie Maguire; and co-workers from Simmons where he worked for many years, just to name a few.

Steve loved his Calgary Stampeders and Calgary Flames. He also had a claim to fame for his hockey skills when he was younger, and then later on he was a professional champion pool shark.

Steve was a remarkable soul whose presence touched the lives of many.  His sense of humor was infectious and his beautiful soul and smile were precious.

As the saying goes “if tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, we would walk right up to heaven, and bring you home again.”  Steve your light will forever shine in our hearts.
