Stanley Bruce Quick

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Stanley Bruce Quick on February 17, 2025 at 78 years of age in Calgary, Alberta. 

Stan was born on July 4, 1946 in Medicine Hat, Alberta and is predeceased by his father Maynard Vernon Quick and mother Mildred Quick (Storrs).  He is survived by and will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Aleata Ryhorchuk and her husband Jeff of Victoria, BC along with his sister and 3 brothers and their families.  Stan is also lovingly remembered by numerous special close friends and neighbours.

Dad, your twinkling blue eyes, warm smile, and laughter will always remain in our hearts.  Your dry sense of humor, compassionate and generous heart, and care for those around you will never be forgotten along with your love of cooking, reading, gardening, and painting. Rest in peace "Stanley Bear".

As per Stan's wishes there will be no formal service.  An informal gathering to remember Stan will be arranged early summer.  Donations may be made in Stan's honor to MS Canada or Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta at https://www.habitatsouthernab.ca/
