It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley May Bevan, a native Calgarian, who passed away in Calgary on April 21, 2026.
Shirley was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) Bevan, and her cherished son, Scott Bevan.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lindy Jefferson, and her children: Kerri Carberry (Greg Carberry), and their children Deklin and Delanie; and Scott Jefferson (Hrisi Jefferson), and their children Aria and Evie.
She will also be lovingly remembered by Scott’s children and her dear daughter-in-law, Julie Scott: Shannon Andersen (Dan Andersen), and their children Robson and Shea; and Kelly Bevan (Reid Pollock), and their children Elowen and Everett.
She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, especially those in Cobourg, who held a special place in her heart.
Shirley found joy in life’s simple pleasures—knitting, baking cookies, family picnics, and Sunday dinners. Her warmth, care, and devotion to family created a legacy of love that will carry on through generations.
The family would like to thank the terrific staff at Seton Age Care for their kindness and compassion in caring for Shirley.
As per her wishes, no service will be held.
She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
