Rudolph “Rudy” Reimer

Rudolph “Rudy” Reimer was called home to his Lord and Saviour on September 7, 2025, at the age of 88 in Calgary, Alberta. He was born on November 29, 1936, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

A devoted educator, Rudy dedicated more than 40 years to teaching, shaping young lives and leaving a lasting impact on students across Manitoba and Alberta. His love for learning and commitment to his profession will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Rudy is lovingly remembered by his wife Elaine, with whom he shared nearly 68 years of marriage. He is also survived by his children Kenton (Denise) and Dean (Christine); grandchildren Aaron (Sarah), Jasmine, and Madison; great-grandchildren Weston, Jane, and Madeline; and sisters Elinor (Waldo), Anna, and Wilma (Denis). He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Aganetha, brother Frank, and sisters Irma and Nettie.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at AgeCare Extended Care Home - Midnapore for their kindness and excellent care during Rudy’s final years.
