Ronny (Ron) Nutz

It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Ron Nutz on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the age of 64.

Ron is survived by his sister, Kim Nutz  (Daniel) of Calgary, AB, his son, Christopher Roi (Liz) of Kelowna, BC, his friend for life, Bonnie Gold of Squamish, BC, his grandchildren, Ixi and Axel, and his nephew and niece, Lucas and Averie Zacharuk. Predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Frances Nutz and his brother Garry Nutz. A private memorial will be held in Kelowna, BC at a later time.

Ron battled mental illness for most of his adult life. He was a private individual but always had time for anyone that needed it. He had such gratitude and love for the staff and friends of Fresh Start Recovery and the opportunity they afforded him. They truly saved his life nearly 3 years ago and for that, Ron’s family will be forever grateful.
