Ronald Lawrence Gehring

We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Ronnie at age 50, in Carstairs, Alberta.

He will be forever missed by his daughter, Mazlie (Dave) Cole; his precious grandson, Hunter; and his mom, Rita.

He is also survived by uncles, Currie (Sigrun), Jack, and Rick Eckes; his aunt Darlene (Tim); his first love, tina; as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Ronnie was predeceased by his dad, Ron Gehring and brother, Robert Gehring. “The Three Amigos” together again.

Ronnie was born and raised in Calgary & Area. He worked in his dad’s construction company until his death in 2013. Ronnie went back to school to study addiction counselling as his new career.

Ronnie loved camping, fishing, trips to the mountains, the Stampede, sports, all animals and playdates with his grandson. He also loved family time and was looking forward to another grandbaby on the way.

A Celebration of Ronnie’s Life will be held at a later date in the new year.
