Robert Gall

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rob Gall, whose independent, helpful, and resilient spirit will always be with us. Rob was born in Edmonton and grew up in Southwestern Ontario.  Following his graduation from the University of Western Ontario, he began his 34 year career with Shell Canada in Sarnia.  It was there that he met and married Lynn Simpson, and Kendra and Fraser were born. Rob and Lynn relocated to Calgary with their small children and began their busy life.

Rob was a devoted husband and father, and a doting grandfather.  He counted many close friendships throughout his life and was always up for an adventure and a laugh. Through all of his triumphs and trials, he remained steady in his care for those close to him. 

Rob is survived by his loving wife, Lynn, children Kendra (Cory), and Fraser (Chelsea), and his grandchildren Enid, Clyde, and Martha, his brother Dr. Jim (Cynthia) Gall, sister-in-law Carol (Doug), brother-in-law David (Monica), and many nieces and nephews, including Kim Gall.

At Rob's request, there will be no service.  Memorial donations may be sent to a cause dear to Rob's heart - The Canadian Cancer Society.
