Neil James LaRocque

Neil James LaRocque passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 69 years of age. He grew up in Estevan, Saskatchewan and moved to Calgary where he spent the majority of his career in Advertising and Customer Service at Transcontinental Printing. 

Neil will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour, wit, kindness and curious nature. He was knowledgeable in a variety of topics and could easily converse with anyone. He had a wide variety of interests including spirituality, poetry, movies and attending film festivals. He loved music and played the guitar in his younger years. His relationships and connections with friends and family are what Neil valued most in his life. 

Neil is also remembered as a favourite uncle, one who encouraged creativity and who positively influenced his nieces and nephews with his continued interest in their lives and activities. 

Neil is predeceased by his father Leo, mother Angeline, brother Don and sister Marilyn. He is survived by his partner, Elizabeth, and his nieces and nephews.
