It is with great sadness, to announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of Nancy Hein.
Nancy is predeceased by her husband Doug (Douglas), her mother and father Georgina and Frank Potts, as well as her brother Frank Potts.
She is survived by her sister Judy Bell, her sons Corey (Mackenzie), Chris (Rachel) and her daughter Jennifer (Jenny) Lynn Hein.
Nancy lived a very structured and routine life these last few years. Whether it was doing puzzles at the kitchen table, reading, or gaming… facebook gaming :) Her love and passion was Vegas - playing the slots! She took many trips up down.
Growing up she was a trainer/groomer by trade, looking after horses involved with the track. She was also very much into stampede wrestling. Many Friday nights she could be found down at the pavilion cheering on some of her favorites (and hometown hero’s The Harts) Later in life she got used to thrifting…she is and was warmly remembered as the book lady at Hillhurst Sunny-Side Community Center. Eventually keeping up with the times and moving onto media...retiring after 20 plus years on 2023. Nancy loved her tv shows...oh the bits she could remember from Blue Bloods to everybody loves Raymond! She had a love for Star Trek, Elvis Presley, and Richard Dean Anderson. She will also be remembered as a cat person...always having animals…leaving behind her last two fur babes Patches and Gizzy Gizmo!
There will be no service as per her wishes.
She will never be forgotten and she will be missed.
