It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving mother Marie who left this world peacefully on February 16th, 2021, in Calgary, Canada at the age of 83. Marie was born in Belfast N.I. on October 28, 1937 to John and Annie Hagans. It was in Belfast where she met and married the love of her life Gilbert (1929 - 1997). Marie and Gilbert immigrated to Canada in the spring of 1967. Marie's fondest memories were of weekend get-togethers with family and friends and enjoying sing-a-longs. She also developed a passion for traveling the world, which she enjoyed until she was no longer able. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children John (1955 - 1999), Linda (& Gary), Elaine (& Danny), Andrew (& Barb). She was also a devoted Granny to Jesse, Ryan, Christina, Amber, Michael, Katie, Joey and Matthew, and several great-grandchildren. Marie also leaves behind her brother Jim (& Margaret) and sisters Violet, Kathleen (& Desi) and Anne (& Bobby) and many other extended family members in N. Ireland, Canada, and Australia.
