Mary Kleingertner

With heavy hearts we share the news that Mary Kleingertner of Calgary Alberta, passed away peacefully on the July 3, 2025 at the age of 91.  She was predeceased by her husband John and her daughter Theresa, her parents John and Maria, brothers Pete, Paul, Mike and sister Ann. Mary is survived by her children Louise (Garry), Jim (Lynne), Donna (Fred), Jean, son-in-law David (Theresa) and Mary’s sister Tina Zubkowski. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren who knew her lovingly as Baba.

Mary touched the lives of many, and will be remembered for her sense of humor, and generous heart.

To remember her life and the love she spread, a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, at Red Deer Lake United Church 96187 Spruce Meadows Green SW Calgary, AB T1S 2R9. 1:00pm Prayers of Farewell 1:45 – 4:00pm Eulogy and Reception.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given in Mary’s name to: CANADIAN VETERANS SERVICES SOCIETY (https://cavss.ca/) Veteran Food Bank.

Thank you to the amazing staff at Colonel Belcher who were kind, patient and compassionate to Mom this last year of her life.  Thank you also for the excellent care given to Mom by staff at the Foothills Medical Centre, Special Services Building Unit 57.
