With family at her side, Marlene passed away peacefully at the Manor Village at Varsity, after several months of struggle in the final stage of congestive heart failure.
A loving wife and mother, she leaves behind four children, Bill (Mo), Michael (Ann), Charlene, Kathleen (Barry) Hirtz, grandchildren, James (Laura), Katelyn (Alex), Erica (Timothy), Kimberly, and Benjamin, and great-grandchildren, Edward, Isabel, and Declan as well as many other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Holy Cross Anglican Church (2828 – 19th Street N.W., Calgary AB) on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
If desired, memorial donations may be made directly to Holy Cross Anglican Church Furnace Fund or the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
