Mark Weeres

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Weeres. Born on August 8, 1958, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Mark lived his life with a quiet strength and a warm heart that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he faced challenges and lived with disabilities, he never allowed them to define him. Instead, he defined himself through kindness, bravery, and an unwavering gentleness that made him the nicest man anyone could ever hope to meet. Mark had a gift for making people feel seen and valued. His smile was so soft but full of meaning, and his presence brought comfort and peace. He taught those around him the true meaning of patience, compassion, and unconditional love. He will be remembered not for what he struggled with, but for the love he gave, the joy he brought, and the quiet wisdom he carried in his heart.

He will be missed by his mother, Lillian, his brother, Randy, his sisters Diane (Doug) and Wanda (Darcy), and his family.

Mark is predeceased by his brother, Bradley, and sister, Beverly.

Mark’s memory will remain a blessing to his family, friends, and all those whose lives he brightened simply by being himself.
