Marion Charleston Obituary

Marion died peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the age of 86. Marion was born in Brandon, Manitoba on June 10, 1937, and spent most of her life in Calgary, AB, where she raised three daughters, Penny Lock, Angela Charleston and Melody Charleston.

Marion is predeceased by her daughter Angela, her parents John and Anne Chyzyk, and her three brothers Bill, Nick, and John Chyzyk.

Marion leaves behind her daughter Penny Lock (David); her grandson Jason Poirier; Jason's wife Kailey; her three great-grandsons, Jacob, Brandon, and Macs; Melody Charleston, her other daughter; her granddaughter Michelle Caceres; and her three great-grandchildren, Sierra, Calvin, Galilea; and nieces and nephews in Alberta and Manitoba.

There will be no service, as she has requested cremation and will be laid to rest in Brandon. In lieu of flowers please give a donation to the charity or organization of your choice in her memory.

The family wants to thank the wonderful staff, Doctors, and nurses at the Chinook Hospice in Calgary for caring and giving her dignity in her last days.
