Dad was a very hard-working man. He was a truck driver most of his life and also drove a chuckwagon in many Calgary Stampede Parades over the years. Dad always had a little joke and stories to share with everyone over the years. He loved to be surrounded by many people and his family. At any family function he would draw people in with his infectious smile and personality. Dad loved to travel and visit with everyone. Anyone who knew him loved and cherished him.
Dad passed away on May 13, 2021 at the Rockyview Hospital. He was predeceased by parents Pete and Violet Johnson; his sister Vera Johnson; his brother Edwin Johnson; and his loving wife Elsie Johnson (Zeh) in 2013.
Dad is survived by his three daughters: Cheryl (Police), Tammy (Mike), and Janet (Peter): his brother Glen Johnson; his seven grand children: Jason (Kim), Cody (Heather), Shane, Courtney (Mike), Trevor, Brandi-Lynn (Adam), and Brittany-Ann (James); and his eleven great grandchildren: Ryleigh, Cole, Cory, Quintin, Aaron, Emma, Cheyenne, Connor, Jaxson, Bentley, and Mia. He will be dearly missed by numerous nieces and nephews, and many many friends and relatives.
There will be a celebration of life for Dad in the future and will let everyone know when able to.
