Linda McLaren

Linda Patricia McLaren, beloved wife of Edwin McLaren passed peacefully on May 23, 2025 after complications with dementia at the age of 76.

Linda was born on May 14, 1949. She was born and raised in Calgary. She met Ed at a young age and they built a wonderful life together raising their two children, Teresa (Laszlo) and Denise (Ryan) in the countryside outside of Calgary. Linda loved tending to her garden, sewing quilts, mountain views, her many dogs throughout the years, and traveling the world.

Besides her loving immediate family, she is survived by her favourite grandchildren, Laszlo and Ferenc (Frankie), her brother George (Patricia), and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends across the world.

She is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Florence Ellis, her brother, Thomas Ellis and her mother and father-in-law, John and Florence McLaren.

It was Linda's wish not to have a funeral. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favourite animal rescue.
