Ligaya Cristobal Evans

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of Ligaya “Lilly” Cristobal Evans, who peacefully passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 84 while visiting in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She is from Largo, Florida, USA. Lilly was a loving sister, aunt, and grandmother. She is survived by her sister, Elsa. She was predeceased by her parents, Leonardo and Raquel, brothers, Reynaldo and Delfin, and sisters, Aurora and Deborah.

Lilly visited her family in the Philippines recently (March-April 2025) and was able to see various places and ate the food that she enjoyed. She also found joy in preparing and cooking meals and giving gifts to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

A committal service was held on May 12, 2025, at Simply Cremations and Funeral Services and a Celebration of Life will be held on May 18, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Calgary Filipino Methodist Church. Her cremated remains will be buried in the Philippines as she wished.
