Laurie Jane (English) Leuschner

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Laurie Jane Leuschner (English), who graced this world from May 28, 1959, to March 13, 2024.

Born in Penetanguishene, Ontario, Laurie peacefully departed this world at High River Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Laurie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William C. Leuschner, and her mother, Sylvia English (White). She is survived by her father, Harold James (Jim) English, her brothers Douglas and Jeffery English, and her sister-in-law, Maureen English. Laurie will also be deeply missed by her nieces Madison English (Omari Fraser) and Kennedy English (Ron Agam), as well as her nephew, Pierce English, and great nephew Arden Fraser. Let us not forget her cherished companion, Mr. Luke, her faithful canine, as well as all her heavenly pups that she held in her heart.

Laurie's devotion to her family was unparalleled, evident in her countless hours spent orchestrating elaborate holiday gatherings and preparing outstanding meals. Her selflessness has left an unforgettable mark on all who knew her. Laurie always lived her life “According to her own rules”, and will continue to be an inspiration, to everyone that loved her.

Though Laurie's physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. May she find eternal peace, enveloped in the everlasting light of God's love.
