It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kyle Kenneth Grant, aged 42, on September 28, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta
Kyle was born in Calgary on January 12, 1983, and lived there his entire life. As a youth, he excelled at baseball and hockey, displaying a competitive spirit and love for teamwork that stayed with him throughout his life.
For most of his life Kyle worked in the plumbing industry. He earned a reputation for being very articulate in explaining repairs to customers while completing the work to the highest standards.
Kyle will be remembered for his warmth, humour, and generous spirit. He brought light and laughter to those around him and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his three children: Indica, Shawn and Alex; mother, Marilyn; father Don; sister Rhonda (Shane); and his only surviving grandparent, Geraldine Grant.
In addition, Kyle is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends including brother-in-law Rich, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandfather Kenneth Grant; grandparents Nels and Margaret Heilman; as well as best friends Ken and Steven Stone.
A celebration of Kyle’s life will be held at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services North (3625 – 12 Street NE, Calgary) on November 15, 2025 at 1:00PM, where family and friends will gather to honour and remember him.
