Kenneth Jay Warman

Kenneth Jay Warman passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Foothills Medical Center in Calgary AB.

Kenny was born on December 5, 1960 at the Calgary General Hospital to parents Robert and Dona Warman. He was the youngest of 5 children.

As a young man he enjoyed dirt biking, water skiing, hunting and playing poker with his friends Robin Cowan and Noel Walker. Ken married his first wife JoAnne (nee Brunner) in 1981 and had two daughters. 

He worked as an Elevator Mechanic with Otis Elevators for 37 years until his retirement this past summer. He will be always remembered for his exceptional work ethic.

Ken was married a second time to Jody (nee Thompson) in 2009, who was by his side to the end holding his hand. They spent their last summer together enjoying their retirement in Aldersyde with wonderful friends. Ken and Jody enjoyed camping, bike riding and snuggling their dogs Jude and Pip.

He is survived by his wife Jody, siblings Linda (Mike), Larry (Gaye), Sherri (Steve) and Patricia (Marty), his daughters Amy (Sean) and Ashley (Kyle). He loved his grandchildren Ava, Mia, Erik, Henry and Elizabeth. He is predeceased by his parents.

As per Ken’s wishes, there will be no service. Always in our hearts and never forgotten.
