Loved Always
It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Kelvin Brodie on May 02, 2025, at the age of 53. Kelvin is remembered most for his kindness and a heart of gold. He would go out of his way to help out a stranger if and when he could.
Kelvin was always adventurous, loved exploring new things and enjoyed sports. He especially loved football and soccer. In his spare time, he enjoyed building army models and would spend time with his nephews building them when they were younger. He was always willing to lend a hand whether it be looking after his nephews or helping with weeding when he could. He also loved cooking with friends for brunch, visiting family and reading.
Kelvin had a passion for nature and loved his career as a field surveyor which took him all over Alberta, mostly in Northern Alberta. He would always share stories of the wild animals he encountered with the most memorable being a time when he held eye contact with a wolf and a bear.
He leaves behind his father & mother, Barney & Ma Rose, his sisters Amy & Delia. His brother-in-law, Raphael and nephews he loved so dearly, Alex, Jacob & Joel. He is missed by many aunties, uncles and cousins from around the globe.
He has joined Peter, his first and beloved nephew, in heaven. In God’s presence and with loved ones gone before us, Kelvin is now in peace and forever free.
Kelvin,
Your life was a blessing,
Your memory a treasure
You are loved beyond words.
And missed beyond measure.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God: believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms. If that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to where I am going. John 14:1-4
