It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn Clark on January 2, 2022 at the age of 71.
After growing up in Hamilton, Ontario and spending summers at Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park, Kathy studied at the University of Waterloo and obtained her Masters of Education from the University of Toronto.
She moved to the Ottawa area to pursue her career and raise a family. She was a dedicated teacher at Plantagenet Public school and a wonderful mother to two children. Later in life Kathy moved to Collingwood, Ontario for 15 years.
She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2011 and moved to Calgary, Alberta in 2017 to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
Kathy loved to laugh and spend time with friends and family, especially outdoors and by the water. She encouraged compassion, integrity, hard work, and adventure.
She is survived by her brother Doug Clark (Kristina), her children Marc LeVasseur (Janet Au) and Adrienne LeVasseur Blaker (Chris Blaker), their father Pierre LeVasseur, and four grandchildren (Thomas, Noella, Alina, Coen).
