Joyous Florence Stuber

"Our beloved mother, Joyous Florence Stuber, passed away surrounded by her family on May 11, 2026, at the age of 82.

Joy is predeceased by her beloved husband, Melvin L Stuber and her parents, Harvey and Olive Knapp who passed before her.

A native Calgarian, Joy lived a life defined by her devotion to family, her warm hospitality and kindness, and her love of helping people.

Raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta, she was a dedicated nurse, before becoming a successful lawyer, but her true life's work was her family. She was an avid gardener and spent her happiest hours in her garden, or hosting family dinners. She taught us the value of hard work, the importance of perseverance, and, most importantly, the value of family.

She leaves to celebrate her remarkable life her children, Melvin (Natalie) and Dean (Jennifer); her adored grandchildren, Justin (Elizabeth), Kelby, Chad and Ashley; her adored great grandchild, Finn, and her close friends.
