Jordynn Louise Atkins-Materi

Jordynn Louise Atkins-Materi, 16, of Calgary, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025. Born on November 17, 2009, to Kahleisha Atkins and Brandon Materi, Jordynn was a beautiful, bright, creative, and loving young woman.

She loved writing, painting, and creating, and had a special affection for babies, whether real or her cherished dolls. Jordynn showed courage and determination in making positive changes in her life, and her kind heart touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her Mother, Kahleisha Atkins; her Father, Brandon Materi; her older Sister's Cheyenne, Brooklynn, Vyctoria and Emma; brothers Brayden and Kayden; Great-Grandparents Louise and Rupert Atkins & Doris Jordan; Grandmothers Eula Atkins and Kimberly Jordan (Rick); Grandfather Ainsley David; and many Aunts and Uncles; Alanna, Alan (Virginia) , Neikeshia, Ryan, Leon (Rahel), Rochelle, Naomi, Ashley, Kimarli, Tushawn, Nnika, Chenai, Sheneeka, Shenika, Keyanno (Chailina), Kezzai and Terrisha as well as her honorary Aunties and Uncles, Many Great-Aunts & Uncles, and countless Cousins. She was predeceased by her Great-Grandfather Ray Jordan, Grandfather Terrance Jordan, Uncle Clive aka Jamaal, and honorary Uncle Shawn 'Super Awesome".

A memorial service will be held on December 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services North, 3625 12 St NE, Calgary, with light refreshments to follow. Reception at St Vincent & The Grenadines Association of Calgary, 2110 41 Ave NE.

Jordynn will be forever remembered for her creativity, her passion, and the love she carried in her heart.
