John Melvin Locken

John, beloved widower of Karen Lynn Locken/McMurtry (October 6, 2020) of Bearberry, Alberta passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024 in the late golden summer. He lives on through his two children; Darcy (Monica Quinn and Nerissa Quinn) and Dale (Sandra, Riley, Samuel, and Nicholas).

John was predeceased by his parents Hans Locken Jr. and Gladys Locken (Yates), as well as sister Denise aka Ed (Wanda, Wendy, Wayne) and survived sister Karen (Steven, Kimberley), sister Joan (Michael) and brother Earl (Lana).

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you continue to spread John’s love of gardens in Bearberry by planting a tree or flower in his name or a donation to Alberta Cancer Foundation.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
