Joel Timbang Arevalo

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joel Timbang Arevalo who left this world on December 4,2025 at the age of 49 in Calgary, Alberta.

Joel was a devoted husband to Vanessa Rodriguez with whom he shared I7 years of love and partnership. He was a proud and loving father to his three children, His oldest son Jove Nathaniel, and 2 daughters Avia Cassandra and Kyra Ellieonna, who was the light of his life.

Born to the late Demetreo Arevalo and Juanita Timbang Arevalo. Joel was a beloved son and a cherished brother to his only sister Diana Rose; he was also a caring son-in-law to Julio and Ruth Rodriguez and a dear brother-in-law to Sean, Sheilah and Jonn Ross Rodriguez.

Joel's presence was a gift to all who knew him. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

He had a passion for playing pool/billiards which started from a young age and developed the skills mostly in his teens, and got really good at it. He continued to enjoy it even until he had his family in Canada.

The freedom and camaraderie he experienced through this hobby brought him great happiness.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on December 20, 2025 at St. Mark's RC Church at 10:00 in the morning.

The family is grateful for the love and support during this difficult time.
