It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of JoAnne Louise Dougherty (Stickney) on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the age of 87 years.

JoAnne was born on April 18, 1936, in Drumheller, AB. JoAnne is survived by her loving husband, Bernard; her children, Murray (Leny), Patti (Paul), Jodene (Scott) and Robert (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Kailyn (Danny), Zachary (Carrie), Benjamin (Kaitlyn), Dylan, Ryan. Caileigh and Noah; great-grandchildren, Evelynn, Alexander and Emma; and her much-loved dog Bobby.

JoAnne met Bernard in 1936 in Morrin, AB and they married on December 13, 1958. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, nana, and great-grandmother, who always put her family first. Joanne had a quick wit, an amazing laugh, and a wonderful sense of humour. We miss her so much.

The family extends their deep gratitude to the staff and residents of St. Teresa Place for their kind and compassionate care.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
