It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jack Raymond Kennedy on November 20th, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta. Born on November 20th,1953, in Carleton Place, Ontario, Jack was an outdoorsman at heart. Jack found peace with a fishing rod in hand and camping with friends and family. His laughter, big personality, and zest for life made every gathering brighter. Jack cherished these moments and memories made with friends and family on these adventures. He lived with the unshakable belief that every day was a celebration that he shared with his family.
Jack was a proud father to four children: Chris (Heather), Sarah, Darcy, and Cortney (Gerard). A loving brother to three siblings, Jim, Kevin, and Tim (Cindy). But nothing brought him more joy than being ‘Grandpa Jack’ to his grandchildren: Maverick, Issac, Darian, Delilah, Ella, Lennox, Jazzlyn, Grayson, Lachlan, Poppy, and his great granddaughter, Everleigh.
Jack is pre-deceased by his parents, Raymond and Dorothy Kennedy (nee McNeely), and his brother, Jim.
Jack leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and a community that will forever feel his absence. His sudden passing leaves a void, but his spirit, vibrant and joyful, will continue to echo through the lives he has impacted.
Jack's family will hold a service in private but will announce a Celebration of Life at a later date.
