Henrietta (Rita) Nobes

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Henrietta (Rita) Clara Nobes. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, in the early morning of August 29th, 2025, due to her battle with stage 4 C.O.P.D. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta on January 16th, 1961, to Hendrika and Ono Hamstra.   She was a proud mother of her three daughters Christina, Ashley, Meghan, & her stepson Stefan. Also, a proud mother to all of her fur babies over the years. She was a wonderful Oma to her grandchildren, Rochelle, Dominic, Dakota, and Kennedy. She loved camping, gardening, and playing games with her family. But watching a movie was always one of her favourite things to do.   She is survived by her adoring husband Jim Nobes, her loving daughters and stepson, and two sons in law, Christopher and William.   She loved with all her heart and she was the most generous woman you would have the privilege of knowing. No matter how her health made her feel, she could always manage to make you smile. She would always put the needs of others before her own.

Her life is being celebrated with family and friends on September 6th, 2025.
