Gordon John Sowiak

Gord passed away suddenly while at home with the love of his life and his wife of 60 years, Joyce. He will be missed more than can be described with mere words by the pride of Gord’s life, his son Chris Sowiak. Chris and daughter-in- love Kathy, their three children and their partners, Taylor & Nick, Ty & Caroline, and Darius & Isabella will miss their center, their rock, their Gedo endlessly.

Gord also leaves to mourn him, his nephew Michael Sowiak, niece Christine Sowiak (Brian Rusted), brother-in-law Dale Stoppler (predeceased by wife Helen), & sister-in-law Tammy Stoppler (Peter Hamill).

Gord could be described easily by saying “He was a good man.”

A small family celebration was held as per Gedo's request, cremation has occurred.
