Georgina Kathleen (Miner) Engelleder

Georgina Kathleen Engelleder (née Miner), beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024, at the age of 86 years.

Georgina was born on June 20, 1938, in Port Williams, Nova Scotia, to Avon and Phyllis Miner. She grew up in the Annapolis Valley, where she developed a love for family as well as sewing and quilting, among many other hobbies. She moved to Calgary in 1966, following other family members out west.

In 1967, Georgina married Udo Engelleder, with whom she shared 53 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they raised Andrew and Martin in Calgary, Alberta.

Georgina was predeceased by her husband, Udo, in August 2020. She is survived by her two sons, Martin and Andrew Engelleder, and their families, who will miss her greatly.

Georgina had requested that no service was to be held but just to remember the good times we all shared together.
