It is with heavy hearts that the Telford clan announces the passing of Faye Denise Telford.
Faye was a fiercely dedicated mother, sister, daughter, sister-in-law, niece, cousin, auntie, great-auntie, and friend. She lived her life based on honesty, integrity, and empathy.
Her heart belonged to her son Jesse who held her love, attention, and devotion from the day he was born. She was proud of him and honoured to be a grandmother to True Lee and Ellie. She treasured the time she was given to make memories with both Jesse and the girls while instilling everlasting love in their hearts.
Faye loved her K-9 companions dearly, caring for them equally as well as her human family members.
Faye was a respected colleague to everyone who had the opportunity of knowing her at Blakes. She possessed a strong work ethic and a wealth of knowledge during her work over thirty-three years at two firms, her last 15 years at the legal firm of Blakes. Faye was a proud Bownesian for over 40 years, offering sound and honest guidance with lifelong happiness as the goal for those she cared for. She was selfless beyond measure.
The pleasures of Faye's life included motorcycle rides, camping in the Alberta Foothills (regardless of mother nature's mood), excelling at shuffleboard, and was always up for a competitive game of crib.
You will always be my little sister, the one with the best memory who loves music and books just like me. You are a great sister who is always ready to listen to my ideas without ever laughing at my beliefs but suggesting an alternate possibility. I cherish hearing your voice every Saturday morning without fail. I’m so grateful for our trip to Mexico and hope you know how important you are to me. You will always be in my heart, and potentially tapping me on the shoulder when I come to a fork in the road. Until we meet again.
The family would like to thank Angie Chapman and her daughter Maddie for providing love and support to Faye over the last couple of years and ensuring her comfort and care in her last days.
