Evelyne Holoboff, 84 of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022. Her Family and friends were by her side when she drifted off to be with the Lord. Evelyne was a dedicated born-again Christian and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Evelyne was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and was raised in the Orange home along with her brother Fred Burke. She then went on to marry Cyril Pelletier and had two children. Evelyne later moved to Calgary with her second husband Merv Holoboff where she worked at Wilson’s Stationary until she retired at 65. She then spent a lot of time studying Christianity; spending time with her family and friends and mostly with her great-grandchildren. Evelyne loved to go out for lunch or dinner and always wanted to be with a loved one. She was loved by all.
Evelyne was predeceased by her son Guy Pelletier; and her grandson Derek Pelletier along with several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter Carla Miller (Jack); her granddaughters and their families Susan Bleakney (Daniel) Adrianna and Ashton, Cristina Leclair (Adam) Braxton and Quinton and Sarah Pelletier, Trayten and Kaylee. She is also survived by her Sister Verna Hopkinson and brother Richard McCowan as well as several nieces and nephews and devoted friends.
Evelyne’s family will have a Celebration of her Life, details to be shared at a later date.
