Eric Pedersen

It is with deep sadness that we announce Eric Pedersen's passing on September 25, 2025, at the age of 86. Eric was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, June 27, 1939.

Eric was predeceased by his son, Kevin, his mother and father, Alice and Howard Pedersen, his mother-in-law, Queenie Boyce and his stepson, Brad Scott. 

Leaving to remember him is his wife of 45 years, Bev (Boyce) Pedersen, his sister, Evelyn Buckley (Clarence), his 2 stepsons, Greg (Sadie) Scott and daughter, Zeaphia of Antigua, Doug (Kathy) Scott and his daughter Michelle and granddaughter, Aurora of Regina. He has always remained close to his nephews, Rick, Mike, Ken, and his niece Colleen and their families.

Eric received his Agriculture Business Management Degree at Calpoly University in California.  He had a number of jobs agriculture related, L K Ranches, Green Circle Irrigation, General Manager of Canadian Western Agribition and then switched to the adult education field working in Fairview, AB, La Ronge, SK, and Meadow Lake, when he finally retired.

Eric and Bev enjoyed their trips to Maui (2), England, Antigua (several times), Costa Rica and many locations in Canada and the USA.

Eric loved downhill skiing, but moved on to golf when he got too far from the mountains, and of course, he loved fishing. Living in La Ronge offered a variety of lakes and rivers.

Thank you so much to all staff at Agecare Seton for making him as comfortable as possible over the last year. He could get a little ornery.

At Eric's request, there will be no funeral service.
