Elizabeth "Betty" Edward Pirart (nee Farah), born September 12, 1945, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, in Calgary, leaving behind a legacy of love strength and devotion to her family.
She is survived by two daughters: Michele and husband Jeff Chynoweth, Marcia and husband Jeff Brauer; four grandchildren, Nathan Kline (wife Kellie), Courtney Murakami (husband Taylor), Kyle Kline, Ryan Chynoweth (wife Julie) and great granddaughter Wrenlyn Murakami. Born in Jamaica, Betty moved to Calgary in 1962, where she built a full and meaningful life and became a long-time member of the community.
Betty was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Leon in 2017. She is survived by her brothers; Edward & wife Louise Farah, Fouad & wife Lisa Farah, sister Anette Brown along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Nicholas Farah and George Farah and sister Lupe Pinon.
She was always admired by family and friends; she was a loving wife, beautiful and sweet Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandma. Betty had a love for cooking and gardening, her kitchen and garden were places where she shared her warmth, creativity and generosity with those she loved.
She dedicated many years of her career as a respected realtor in Calgary, forming lasting relationships and helping countless families find a place to call home. Betty and Leon were long time members and heavily involved with the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Aerie 2098) where she found friendship and community.
As per Betty's wishes, no formal funeral service or celebration of life will be held.
