Elisabeth (Betty) Hamm Obituary

With great sadness we announce the passing of Elisabeth (Betty) Hamm.

Betty leaves behind four children; Jackie, Wayne, Geraldine, and Priscilla; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Betty was born in Loma Plata, Paraguay. She moved to Canada with her family in 1956. She met the love of her life Allan, while walking home from work while he was on leave from the navy. He stopped to give her a ride. The rest is history. They got married in 1963.

Betty and her husband Allan loved traveling around the world. Some of her favourite past times were sewing, crocheting, shopping, slot machines, and video games.

Betty had an extreme will to live; she had a partial lung removed and beat cancer. She would light up any room when she entered with her fabulous smile and contagious laugh. She will be forever missed.

She has now reunited with her love, Allan Hamm.
