Edward Gabriel Lang

On October 10, 2025, Ed passed away peacefully. He was born on a farm in Quinton, Saskatchewan in 1937. He and his family moved to Calgary in 1953. After graduation, he began working in the Oil and Gas Industry in Human Resources as a Risk Manager until he retired.

In 1964, he married Joan Ester Sutherland, and they had two children, Lisa Marie Knight (nee Lang), and Patrick Jay Lang. He was a grandfather (Bubba) to Tyler Lang and Laura Lang, and great grandfather to Aubrie Otteson and Marshall Otteson. He is also remembered by his sister Judi Negenman and his best family friend, Rosemary Koshelka.

Ed has been predeceased by his wife Joan; mother and father Anna and Bill Lang; brother Richard Lang; and sister Cecile Baker.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no Funeral Service.
