Douglas Walter Hambidge

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Douglas Walter Hambidge, on March 2nd, 2026, just four days shy of his 99th birthday.

Douglas was predeceased by his wife, Denise, was father to Caryl, Stephen and Graham as well as a grandfather and great-grandfather.

Douglas responded to a call to ordained ministry early in his life and lived his life to the full.

We are thankful for the many memories that we carry and the knowledge that we have of the impact he has had on so many people over the years.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Holy Nativity Anglican Church in Calgary (12707 Bonaventure Drive S.E.), on Saturday March 28th at 4pm.
