Doris Mabel Dickinson

It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Mabel Dickinson announce her passing, in Calgary, September 19, 2025, at the age of 97.

Doris will be lovingly remembered by her children – Daniel (Christine) Dickinson, Dolaine (Greg) Beauchamp, Barb Dickinson, Dean Dickinson, and Dayna (Brent) Brentnall; her grandchildren  – Jonanthan, Andrew, Christopher and Ashely Beauchamp,  Malcolm, Mercedes and Millicent Brentnall, and great-grandchildren - Margaret, Parker, and Olivia Beauchamp and Daniel Brentnall. 

Doris was predeceased by her husbands Sonny Dickinson (2005) and Al Stangowitz (2012), her father Melvin Cowie, mother Janet Esther Cowie (nee Anderson), and brothers – Warren, Gordon, Douglas, and David Cowie.

The family would like to extend our thanks to the staff at Wentworth Manor for their compassion and care. We wish to express our sincerest appreciation to Katalin and Tony Toth for their ongoing support and loving assistance.

Private family service will take place at a later date.
