Doreen Eleanor Haney

With heavy hearts, deep love and sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Doreen Haney on October 9,2025 in Calgary, AB at Chinook Intracare Centre at the age of 92.

Doreen lived most of her adult life in Stettler, AB where she enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time with family and friends. She travelled extensively as a travel agent all over the world. She was President of the Ladies Auxiliary and President of the Ladies Golf League. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Remembering her for her love, kindness and unwavering support are her daughter Colleen Holdsworth, grandson Chris Holdsworth (Amy Mireault), granddaughter  Amber Holdsworth (Mike Nelles), great grandchildren Henrik and Neva Holdsworth.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Dr. Al Haney and son Earl Haney.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the entire staff at Chinook Intercare Center for their compassionate care of Doreen.

There will be  a celebration of life for Doreen on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the CKE Community Centre (1015 73 Ave SW, Calgary) from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.
