Deborah Lynn Trochim

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Deborah Lynn Trochim, A loving mother and grandmother, devoted wife, gifted artist, and cherished friend, who left us on August 24, 2024 at the age of 67 surrounded by family. Deb was a talented artist whose passion for fused glass brought light and color into the lives of many.

Born on November 3, 1956, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Deb spent her career as a nurse in Winnipeg and Calgary, caring for those who needed it most. She discovered her love for art early on and embraced fused glass as one of her mediums. Her creations were more than just pieces of art; they were reflections of her vibrant spirit, creativity, and deep love for life's beautiful moments. Her works adorned homes and hearts, each piece capturing the essence of her boundless imagination and skill.

Deb is survived by her spouse Lawrence Trochim and two sons Shawn Trochim (Hollie, Emma), and Bryan Trochim (Amelia, Owen, Edith) and many friends and admirers who will forever cherish her memory and the beautiful legacy she left behind. Deb is also predeceased by her grandchild, Logan Trochim.

Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing that her light shines on through her art and the countless lives she touched. Rest in peace; your creative spirit will forever inspire us.
