With sadness, the family of Darrel Bradley Little announces his passing on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
He will be lovingly remembered by his stepdaughter Sara, Sara’s mother and dear friend, Betty Little, grandchildren Luke, Ryann, and Will, and his brothers Ernie, Sterling, and Neil. Darrel leaves numerous nieces and nephews and will be especially missed by his niece and cherished lifelong friend Michelle Viste. Darrel was preceded in death by his parents Eva (Howes) and Bill, and brother Vance.
Darrel was an interesting and interested man. He had a keen eye and enjoyed learning about the world we live in. He had a deep love for nature and took pleasure in nurturing anything with the potential to grow. Travel and adventure off the beaten path were sources of great joy.
Throughout his working career, Darrel made a long and lasting impact in sales in the print/IT industry. He enjoyed his time there and formed many lasting friendships.
In his leisure time, Darrel was an avid sports enthusiast. He had a passion for golf, curling and skiing as well as being a devoted Calgary Flames fan. In his younger years, he amassed an impressive collection of trophies for baseball and bowling.
Darrel was a proud native son of Nipawin, Sask and although he moved west as a young man, and enjoyed a fulfilling and happy life in Calgary, he continued to call Nipawin home. Darrel will be interred in Nipawin, where there will be a celebration of his life, at a future date,
Darrel Bradley Little lived a rich and fulfilling life, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and dedication. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
